
In a vibrant showcase of local sporting talent, the highly anticipated Inter-District Archery Competition has officially commenced in Meghalaya. The prominent sporting event is scheduled to run for three consecutive days, promising a thrilling display of skill, focus, and precision.
Organized by the Archery Association of Meghalaya (AAM), the tournament has drawn a significant and enthusiastic turnout. Approximately 200 archers have converged for the event, proudly representing all 12 districts of the state. This widespread participation highlights the deep-rooted popularity and growing competitive spirit of archery across the region.
Over the course of the three-day tournament, the athletes will battle it out across various categories to claim top honors for their respective districts. Beyond just winning medals, the AAM aims to use this statewide platform to identify, encourage, and nurture promising archers who could potentially represent Meghalaya on national stages in the future.
